Booster Seats

Everyday there are around 115 million vehicles on the road in America alone. It’s important that when a baby is sitting in the rear seat of any one of those vehicles they are placed in the proper and most safe car seat. With that being said this will be a 2 blog series each of them will break down the type of car seats for babies and toddlers. In this one I will continue on and go more in depth about the different types of Booster Seats.

Backless Booster Seats

The Backless Booster seat is the one that is familiar with most people. When using this seat it is important that the child’s head should line up with the top of the vehicle’s seat.  ONLY USE if the car has headrests. They’re great because they are lightweight and easy to transport from car to car. They are also great for toddlers who are around 4-7.

High Back Booster Seats

High back booster seats are nice because of the fact that they provide a little bit of extra protection, because of the fact that it has padding for the neck and the head on both sides. According to buckleupforlife.com it has been shown that with the side protection there is less risk of whiplash and other injuries when used properly.

Combination Booster Seats

This is almost exactly the same as the High back  Booster seat. But you get the added protection of the five point harness

As we can see each booster seat is an improvement on the last it is up to you to decide the booster that would work best for your child
