Everyday there are around 115 million vehicles on the road in America alone. It’s important that when a baby is sitting in the rear seat of any one of those vehicles they are placed in the proper and most safe car seat. With that being said this will be a 2 blog series each of them will break down the type of car seats for babies and toddlers.
The Infant Car Seat
This is generally the first type of car seat that a baby has. When placing the baby inside the baby will face the back of the car. The reason being is because of the fact that it is much safer for the baby. Many models of the Infant Car Seat convert into a baby carrier as well.
The Convertible Car Seat
The convertible Car Seat is similar to the Infant Car Seat but there is one key difference. With this seat you can change the seat to face forward as well. This is what will allow you to get more bang for your buck. You will be able to use this seat for the child generally from the ages of 0 to 3.
The All-in-One Seat
This is a built in 3-IN-1 seat. This is where we take everything from the previous two functions, but can also work as a booster seat. This seat is essentially an all in one, you only need to buy this once and it will do the trick . As your child grows you can change the seat as needed.
As you can see each of these seats build on top of the previous one. What you should decide is would you rather get the seat that is designed for one specific purpose? Or would you rather have something that only needs to be bought once? The choice is up to you. Keep your baby strong, safe, and healthy.
